• What’s the best way to ensure I don’t miss anything important?

• Does HT offer summer classes and camps?

  Yes, HT offers Lower School and Upper School summer classes and camps in a variety of interest areas, including credit and non-credit bearing classes. For more details, please visit the Summer Programs button on your home resource page.

• Do I need a medical form to try out or participate in summer sports?

  Yes. In order to participate in athletics, a student must complete all of the athletic clearance steps. 

• Does my student need a computer? If so, which one?

  • Yes, all 5-12th graders will need an appropriate device. 5-6th graders can use a simple laptop while 7-12th graders will need a laptop or tablet with certain specifications. List of requirements:

    We recommend a inexpensive laptop for the lower school in case devices are dropped or broken.  

• What mobile computing device is recommended?

  Mobile Computing Devices (MCD) / BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) Program

  Students in grades seven through twelve will be using MCDs during the academic day and are expected to bring an appropriate device to school for academic use. Smart phones are used in grades nine through twelve (at the teacher’s discretion) for some classroom activities. Students are expected to have a tablet or laptop with the specifications below to participate in daily classroom activities.

  • Lower School - 8:15 am

  Dismissal times:
  Preschool - Grade 1: 3:00 pm

  Grades 2-6 - 3:25 pm: 3:00 pm
