College: B.A. Sociology. University of Alicante; Master in Teaching Middle and High School. University of Alicante; Master Applied Linguistics in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. University of Nebrija; DELE examiner accreditation for school children. MCER A2/B1 level.
Career: Sra. Bernabeu began teaching Sociology in High School and College level in Spain. After some time, she decided to change and got her master's in teaching Spanish as a Second Language and when she came to US, she first taught in an immersion school, and then she changed and taught Spanish in middle and High School in New Jersey. She has also presented in some conferences such as FLENJ, Profedeele, NJ-AATSP, NYU.
How do you envision helping students live the “Start Here. Go Anywhere.” motto?
Students that learn a different language can Go Anywhere. Here we expose them and give them tools to feel comfortable in the new language so they can experience the freedom that knowing languages provides.
