Dr. Stimmell

College: B.S., Biological Sciences, Florida State University; Ph.D., Neuroscience, Florida State University

Career: Dr. Stimmell first began teaching while going through graduate school to get her PhD. She taught many different lectures and lab at FSU while in school. After graduating, she spent a year as Visiting Teaching Faculty at FSU. When she moved back to Brevard County, she started teaching here at Holy Trinity in 2023. 

Studying biology, the study of life, we "Start Here" by learning the basic biological concepts that are important to life so we can get a better understanding of the world we live in. Starting small with cells, we build all the way up the human body systems and even further to the environment around us. Students will be able to "Go Anywhere" by being able to explain some of the natural components of the world and have an appreciation for them. If pursuing science, they'll continue to build up the foundations of biology learned to help answer the questions biology seeks to answer in more complex detail.
